Posted under Life & My Thoughts

Well let me relate a two incidents which I have gone through yesterday and some time back. Firstly is at this parking up on the 7th floor. I finished my work and I was leaving the office and got in my car. Got out the money and tickets all ready to pay (like an eager young boy, cheh). So I drove up to the parking attendant counter (a box really). I opened my door and passed the ticket and cash to this guy in the box. Well, I’m not kiasu or anything but my power window snapped sometime ago and me being very the busy, have not fixed it yet. Well back to this guy, he starts asking this lady which usually sit there being the cashier, with a harsh tone of voice. He was not even paying attention to this lady… and he started pressing this button and that button. At the end of the commotion, the barrier did not rise…
I was sitting there patiently with my door slightly opened. I peeped at the rear view mirror and saw a queue behind my car. $#!T… normally if I am the one queuing, I would suggest that the guy in front must be out of cash, or only had big bills, or something else unpleasant. Though I do sometimes think of good stuff like may be the machine was faulty or something like that la. And some more with my door slightly opened it seems that I was the one causing all the trouble and the guy behind actually got off his car to come front to check what was happening, like may b I was out of cash or something like that man. I was like trapped in the bad guy situation for like 15 mins, and boy that 15 mins was like 1 ˝ hours… finally the decided to up the barrier and let me go as I have paid and they gave me back my balance, so guys it was not me its them OK.
I remember another incident not long ago when I went to this Cisco Seminar in KL Hilton. First of all they had to stick a long metal thing with some lights and I had to unlock my boot for them to inspect. It was just a few weeks after some bombing dunno where so never mind la, let them check lo. Then I spend the whole day in the seminar and lunch as well, uh um, not bad man. After that, I went and got my car and drove out as everyone else to leave the car park. Same thing, reaches the counter and paid my parking fees. That time it was not machine fault but they ran out of the receipt. They were trying to install a new roll of receipt but to no avail. I mean they are supposed to be pro at these kinda situations and I had to be the unlucky ones when amateur does it.
Lucky I did not have to deal with that in the same day if not I would actually think I am a sort of bad luck person. You know what they say, “Jatuh ditimpa tangga”, fall down already then the stair falls on you hai. I don’t want to be called the bringer of death bad luck you know.
Any way it’s actually about your perception. I mean have you ever judge someone or something just by, let’s say the incidents above. Are we supposed to judge? Are we supposed to think the way we think? We often have the perception that he/she is this/that, he/she must be this/that. But have we actually stop for a second and think. The truth might be very different from our perception of reality. We might think that we are right, but are we. It is so often that we judge a person or something without even think that we are wrong, we always think that we are right. But are we??

Should we judge by our perception of reality?? Are you responsible for your judgments??
