Ah Sim, age does post some difficulties, but wit determination, I guess you’ve taken the 1st step. By sharing the simple things, it’s the start for you to bond with your parents.

actually i just watched the movie last nite n i also one of them who keep saying there’s generation gap between my father n me. it’s a fact coz im 47 yrs old younger than my father. not only me, i bet all my siblings also not really understand him but it’s an unchangeable fact. wat we can do is share our things with him, even it’s just a small matter.

the movie makes me think a lot ……

i wouldnt say my parents do not understand me. it’s more of, i wouldnt want to be comprehend ( or the sort). My dad told me last weekend saying that i always keep things to myself n there’s no where they could understand me coz i seldom talk to them. they dont know if i m happy..or not happy. i guess i have grown up that way, not having much conversation with my family members…n i havent change.
Even when i was in sch last time when i young, my frens would be the ones saying that : my dad said this my mum said that..but i seldom..
and i’ve grown used to not revealing much.

it’s time to change. i know. but me being me. i’m rebel at heart n stubborn . n i hope it wil not take too long…
