I have just upgrade to Word Press 2…
It was a painful job and it took me about 2 to 3 hours. Downloading the files were a breeze and even unzipping it was like mere seconds. Even backing up my database and even my whole site took less than 5 minutes. However the pain is when you need to delete the existing files and then uploading the files that you have unzipped.
I just can’t believe it, even with a streamyx connection, the process was still slow, very very slow. And they tell me that we don’t need or we don’t want higher bandwidth. I guess they did not ask the correct people to get the correct answers. If you ask me, the connection I have now is so slow that it does not even come close to a mere satisfactory level. So come on and provide us more bandwidth. The more the merrier.
I have not really check on the updates altogether so do let me know if you find anything funny. Things that you feel funny can be shared with me as well.
