I know this is a bit late, with just an hour or two away from the auspicious reunion dinner. This is a message to all my friends, near and far, known and unknown, remembered and forgotten, loved and hated, basically everyone on this planet I guess.
I know some of you are already back to your hometown, or your spouse’s family, or some even overseas, but then I extend my wishes to all of you no matter where you are, what you are doing, not only to you, but your family, spouse and your spouse’s family as well.
My best wishes for a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year to Winn, Kyels, Devil, Piggie, Grace, Carmen, Jing Xian, Ah Sim, Angie… my good friends, Lisa, Yah Li, Fung Wan, Lai Kuan, Lee Khuen, Chee Kheun, Kwong Wai, Lip Seng, Elvin, and your spouses which I have not mentioned… my course mates, Ron, Foong Li, Siew Lan, Woo, Siew Hoon, Lee Keng, Vivian… my schoolmates, MBSSKL rocks, Donny, John, Chow Tien, Thiam Loong, Yik Meng… my colleagues, Choon Hoon, Angeline, BC, Chin, Chen, Lew and of coz to all those which I might not have mentioned above.
A warmest wish that you may all be flourished with joy, happiness and wealth for the coming years. I know you can’t wait for your reunion dinners, I too can’t wait. I think dinner for us this year will be ready in about 30 more minutes, so here’s wishing all again a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year.
Of course for those who are receiving ang pow like me, may you all received lots of it with the blessings that comes with each one of them.
For those giving ang pow, may your blessings touch and give joy to all recipients.
