During my short stay in Singapore, I had the pleasure to dine in at a restaurant called Carnivore. It’s a Brazilian restaurant. It was a buffet and I saw waiters walking around with spear kind of tool with a knife. It’s like grilled meat on a stick, kebab style.
We started with the buffet with around inside the restaurant which consist to my surprise at first as there is no meat at all. It was all starters and salad like palm’s heart, corn, potatoes and other non meat dishes. Even though only vegetables, the corn and palm’s heart tasted real good.
As we sat in the open air table with a bottle of red wine, the waiters came and served us, although it was a buffet dinner. To me it was buffet at the salad bar. Well I thought that it was a normal buffet but then the restaurant really live up to its name of Carnivore. The waiters brought and served us a lot of meat. We were served with lamb, sausages, pork, bacon, beef hump, salmon fish, grilled pineapple, chicken, chicken heart and many more. Well not all of them are meat but that was a lot of meat from various part of the animal.
The food was really good and of coz, the amount was like bottomless pits. The meat just keeps coming and coming and coming. The hearty meal took around 2 hours and it was really one that I enjoyed as it was good food coupled with wine. The best part is the company of my colleagues which I guess I could only wish for, but it came true for me. A really good restaurant for the meat eaters, definitely.

Sounds super fun to me! Actually, I enjoy watching guys eat nonstop more than the food itself. So fun to watch guys with hearty appetite whalloping the food rounds after rounds. Hehe…
