Spams are back and amounting to a thousand in just two days and it was less than fourty eight hours. I’m not sure if I am doing things right or not, but these spam just keep on coming, like an endless war against some unknown enemies, aliens. I’m not sure how Wordpress’s engine deals with it for I have already marked it as spam, but it still keep on coming. Come to think of it, it’s like Energizer, keeps on going and going and going.
Another thing is that I find quite taxing at times and I just realized yesterday and this morning is the posts that emerge everyday. I just read all of them the day before and yesterday at about five thirty in the evening there was already fourty five post, new and unread yet. Then this morning, I find out that within a duration of twenty four hours or a day, the number of posts that emerged was seventy five.
I procrastinated again as I have gone through some of the posts. Have a good weekend soon, coming very soon is fly day.
I have not been feeling excellent, not been feeling myself too. May be its just me, work’s getting heavier by the day. Take care everybody and have fun.

spam is indeed a problem indeed. hmm. since you’re hosting on your own consider getting more spam filters than (i’m assuming) askimet provided by WP?

Oh, regarding the spam, turn on your word verification or something and add the spam blockers. You can refer to other wordpress users.

I’ve been experiencing the same thing with spam. I have been ignoring them since a couple of weeks ago when readers of my blog called my attention that their comments aren’t appearing on my posts. Since then, I’ve been checking everyday, sometimes twice a day and going through all the spam comments. It takes time too, you know. I could have used that time reading those “unread posts.”

Going through thousands of spam comment to ensure that the genuine ones does not get a status of spam is just not easy
