Ok… something funny happened.

Everything was still looking good in the evening but then just now, everything changed. It was like a turn back in time. I lost a couple of post and of coz all your valuable comments.

*scratch head*

Could have been a server crash or something like that… I guess I will have to repost them but I would have lost the comments…

Now, don’t think I was caught in a war or terrorism act. I am not, really. I have no idea where this character comes from but I find the name quite intriguing. I think it’s from one of the first person shooting games such as counter strike or well, I may be wrong totally. I have not been playing computer games for a long, long time.
I was in Berjaya Times Square armed with my camera trying to shoot them, digitally I mean. I guess I was very late as they were all gathering around the stage playing games and dancing. Apart from that I can see many people buying discounted original games, playing the new online games as well as auctioning for online equipment for their characters as well as character in the online gaming world.
For I have no knowledge at all about online gaming, what else can I do but take pictures without even knowing what characters they are or from which games they came from. However I find this guy very interesting and catchy to my eyes. This guy in mask looks so interesting that I keep my eyes on him. You know, he gives me this mysterious feeling that made him so interesting. Other than that, the other characters look cool too. Tell me which one catches your eyes and may be you can help me in naming them character wise or their real person. I’d like to know some of the girls in person too , if you know what I mean…

There are times when we see and keep quiet. There are times when see and voice out. There are also times when we see, voice out and act. This is one of them, we saw, we voiced and we acted.

For those who have casts your votes, congratulations, as you have fulfilled your duty as a citizen and as a righteous human, whichever you voted for. The events of the unravelling of the votes counted yesterday were both exciting as well as a little worrying. The big excitement came when the opposition started to gain a lot of hot seats as well as gaining the seats they needed to construct the state government in the respective states. The worrying came when the opposition are gaining more and more seats at an unpredicted rate.

The big excitement was so intense as unofficial reports that one state by one state is being taken by the opposition and big names has been defeated here and there. The greater comfort came as unofficial reports state that the ruling party is denied of its two third majorities.

Worries came to mind when the heat is uncontrollable as the oppositions keeps gaining seats, defeating many big names in the MCA, MIC and the Gerakan. The worries is not of what the SMS has been sent out but of another worry but that the opposition may still have not the ability to rule and take more than half of the total seats to become the ruling party. However said that, with this win and determination, what the opposition needs now is to show their ability in showing improvements in the states that they will be governing. I believe that if this is done well, they will continue to win more seats in the future unless the ruling party learns how to listen to the nation’s voice and not their tummy or the voice in their tummy.

To have the opposition gaining more than one third of the seats was great as this will ensure all matters are thoroughly looked into and managed wisely especially those dealing with the nation and its citizens. This also means that the transparency of the government might just be achieved. We deserve to know what is happening and also I believe many would like to know how the parliament meetings are being conducted and what are the issues debated during these meetings, in all its details, even video footages.

The future now lies in the elites of the nation who knows what is best as the nation is becoming more and more knowledgeable rather than looking back to the past and feels threatened in any ways. The new generation knows what is right and wrong as well as the truth. The eyes opened, the voices heard and the actions spoke!

To be a part of history, voted, refreshed malasiakini.com every other second and glued to the idiot black box while waiting for the slow announcement of the results is exhilarating. I guess the beers last Friday was an early celebration nonetheless, a celebration to a wiser and better nation, a multiracial nation.

What runs through your mind when everything seems to have happened before? There are instances where you tell yourself that this has happened before. This is what I think I’ve dreamt of. What do you do? Is it true that you have dreamt about it before? Is it true that it is happening again?

The reality is that many things happens again and again sometimes without us knowing, consciously. Well at least for me. Many a time I try to run from reality, from fantasy, from myself. I guess there is no way out, nowhere to run.

The haunting of the past never does seem to leave me alone. I don’t live in the past but then again it lives in me. I doubt I will ever be able to run as fast or even get a breather from it.

There is a definite disheartening feeling when you see the same thing happen over and over again like you are watching an old film. The only difference is that there is no remote and definitely no stop, pause or even rewind.

I guess the come back of my drinking habit may proof once again to be useful.

Going to work today did pose some uneasy feeling, as I have never started work so early before. Normally I would have taken days that I myself would lose count. The unbearable feeling became heavier as I think of the way I have, or we have been treated over the course of the last month or two.

However today proved something else, as my new boss came in, though the other bad one is still there but just added a layer of protection between us. Like usual, productivity is not as high as many are still on leave.

The start of the afternoon saw some changes to the mood as one came with a deck of cards but I refused as it clearly goes against the code of conduct to gamble in the office especially during office hours. However after a few persuasions, I gave in, but then not to the deck of cards but to three buckets of beer.

It’s also a first to drink during the hours though outside, and like usual, Pavilion was the place again. Now, you know you are still in Chinese New Year mode when you start drinking beer for tea time round 4 and get drunk by the time dinner comes.

I am starting to feel a lot livelier despite the happenings that bring down my feelings. Chinese New Year is a time to be jolly indeed.

Well, there’s always a first to many things and I believe that drinking and drunken this early in a day in a week is not just a onetime affair. Well, cheers to the Tiger and Carls for the tipsy start of the ratty year.

Hope you are having a great time and may this year brings forth the best in life for everyone. Yes everyone including you, you and you.

Reading about the encounter with XXL burger from KFC from a certain pink corner refreshed my memory of mine. The truth is it’s not really filling and well, not really up to the burger taste level. I had that 7 inch bread with another 4 pieces of fried chicken, so that would be the last I’ll be tasting the 7 inch burger.

This body has been going for a treat of late. I have in the last month drank more alcohol in the last 2 years or so. I guess the crowd does matter as the bunch of people I work with are either into food or drinks if not both. The visits to hawker stalls, restaurants and eating places has gained me more fat. Yes I’m really looking like an elephant now. They say it’s good to eat, well it is!

The recent places for drinks were my all time favourite Luna Bar in the sky, La bodega Pavillion, and also Island Bistro in Pavillion. It’s been great as that has been the only unwinding situations that I can be in from the amount of time and stress caused by work.

I think I’m starting to eat drink sleep pavilion. I visit Pavillion like at least once a day but normally twice on weekdays. Lunch and dinner is at Pavillion too. I’m starting to think I have a second home here.

Well, anyway a very early Chinese New Year to all.

Took this while on a day trip to Malacca with one of my ex colleague back in December if I remember correctly. It’s a new complex and just right at that moment Santa Claus and his santarinas appeared. Ate a lot that day also and also managed to get some tees from Charles Cham’s. Day trip can be really nice especially when there is food. May be next post will be of the food, may be…

There seems to be nothing in my mind recently, except tiredness, drained and feeling-less. I’m starting to lose my senses as well as myself.

Too many things have been happening out of control. Not one too many or two too many, but simply mountains of too many out of control happenings. Sleep has left me many, many times, rendering this body numb and mind dead.

Time is passing by. I am passing by too. I’m passing through and being passed through at the same time.

I feel a rush of emotion through my body and mind. A blend of the good and the bad.

Life’s fair in a way, I guess, even when we least expected it to or even not expecting it to.

Just something I started last year. They look deformed from their full size scale figure, but I think they are cute!

Now I need to sleep! I have not been able to sleep for days and may be weeks. Trying to release stress, but not really working. Believe me, unnecessary stress kills a lot of things, both mentally and physically.

2 pieces of fried chicken, 2 large fries, 1 country grilled chicken burger, 1 mcchicken burger, 1 large coke. That was lunch. It has been sometime since I had eaten like that.

The start of the year sees to a public holiday, which is a good start. The rest of it can only be sum up with one word, work. Rushing around to get things running is not easy, it’s really tough, especially when things cannot be done with the lone effort of myself.

Here’s to a great start of the new year to all! Thanks to everyone for your messages, SMS and posts.
